Straight Answers on Scoping and Billing
Do retainer hours really never expire?
Yes. As long as you remain an active Reaction client, your prepaid retainer hours roll over month to month. If you have a quiet December, you can save those hours up for a massive push in January. We don’t believe in “use it or lose it.”
How do the discounted rates work?
Your hourly rate is tied directly to your Website Management tier (Bronze, Silver, or Gold). The higher your management tier, the lower your hourly development rate. You receive an additional discount on top of that if you commit to a prepaid Growth Retainer.
Can I just hire you for a one-off project if I’m not a hosting/maintenance client?
Yes. We offer a standard “Visitor Rate” for non-management clients who need expert WordPress development. However, once we show you how well we build things, you’ll probably want us to manage the site too.
How do you estimate On-Demand requests?
When you submit a request, our team reviews it and provides an estimate before we start the work. If it’s a 15-minute quick fix, we just knock it out. If it’s a 10-hour feature build, we get your approval on the estimate first so there are never any surprise invoices at the end of the month.
What if a Dedicated Sprint or project goes over budget?
If we miscalculate the effort required for a scoped Sprint, we eat the cost. The only time a scoped project budget changes is if the scope of work itself changes (e.g., you decide to add a new feature halfway through the build).
