No. Because we build and test the fully updated version of your site on a private staging server first, your old live site remains perfectly active. When we route the DNS to the new server, the switch is virtually instantaneous.
Will my SEO rankings drop?
Actually, they often improve. Because we aren’t changing your URLs or content, your search structure remains identical. However, because we are cleaning up the code and moving you to a faster infrastructure, your Core Web Vitals usually see an immediate boost, which Google loves.
Do I have to awkwardly fire my current agency or host?
