Website and digital identity for one of the largest TELUS dealers in Alberta.
One of TELUS’ largest dealers in Alberta, The Phone Experts is a locally-owned company that offers personal and business telecommunication, security and IT services.
We were tasked with building a website to showcase the breadth of everything they do. The challenge? With so many great offerings, we needed to organized the website’s content in a way that would make sense to the user, while highlighting the value and superior service they provide to their customers.
In order to provide a seamless experience for the site’s visitors, we shifted the top level organization of their services from Phone, IT and Security, to just Personal and Business Solutions.
From there, a clear content strategy made sense of the expansive services and products offered. A key aspect of the site’s design was a mega menu that brings context to what’s inside each section without having to frustratingly dig through the site to find what you’re looking for.

As an authorized TELUS dealer, the site needed to incorporate TELUS’ colours and branding, without recreating all the content and information that was already on their website. It also needed to quickly communicate with visitors just what made The Phone Experts so different from other Telus retailers, while marketing the wide-range of security, business and IT services they offer.
A mobile-friendly website with concise content gives the customer just enough information to get them from the web and through the door. Using large, impactful imagery of their products and service categories, combined with concise content, we built a website that quickly made a connection with visitors, and aimed to position The Phone Experts as a provider of unparalleled customer service and knowledge.
Authentic photography helped us humanize their brand and bring it to life online, while subtly communicating the importance of a personal touch in an otherwise impersonal industry.
Location-specific landing pages were designed for each of their seven stores across Alberta to highlight unique offerings for each location, and help with local search engine optimization. We also incorporated a blog into the website to act as a platform for an ongoing content marketing strategy.
