Brand, logo, website and marketing materials for a Red Deer based contractor.
Ross Contracting, a home and commercial renovation group, recently relocated their business to Alberta and pretty much needed one-of-everything to help get their brand and marketing off on the right foot.
With only a name in hand, owners Jeff and Melissa had some very specific characteristics they wanted represented in their brand, and they trusted us to deliver on this.
We designed a polished brand identity that included a logo, business cards, letterhead, and a full brand standards package that will help keep the look and feel of their marketing assets consistent for years to come.
We then created a one page website to showcase not only the work they do, but to demonstrate the quality of their craftsmanship. We also designed and wrote content for their service brochure, trade show banners, vehicle decals and even created social media profile graphics.

When we started the research process it was obvious to us right away that the owners’ strong ethics and values were something that we really wanted to capture in their brand. We hit the drawing board and brainstormed imagery that represented those values. We landed on the powerful symbolism of a lion and its unwavering demonstration of strength, pride, and morality. We chose a colour palette of gold and navy blue to evoke feelings of trust and prestige, while using lots of white space to keep things clean and modern.
Next, we needed to create a value statement that spoke to the core of who they were. The tagline, Quality by Virtue, emerged, communicating that they provide the highest quality workmanship at a fair price to their clients.
They didn’t need an expensive website, but they did need to be found online. We built them a simple one page website with easily accessible information for potential clients, while giving them a professional and trustworthy online presence.
A collection of marketing materials finished off the project, giving them everything they needed, including a strategically designed vehicle wrap, and job site signage, to help build their brand identity in the community.
